Wild Nutrition Pure Strength Omega 3 provides 800mg of EPA and 400mg of DHA in easy-to-swallow capsules from MSC certified, sustainable Alaskan Pollock. Omega 3 Fish oils have been shown to support brain, heart and eye health as well as being essential during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Alaskan Omega fish oil is the only source of omega 3 fish oils to be awarded the eco label certification from the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). Fish are caught with selective mid-trawl nets in Alaska, meaning that there is an ultra low by-catch (fish that is not going to be used for oil) percentage that far exceeds industry standards. Our sustainable oils are processed from freshly-caught fish and refined by a family-run refinery where they go through a process of molecular distillation and cold extraction. A large percentage of the fish is turned into pure oil very soon after its been caught. Any fish that is not turned into oil on board the boat; will be frozen and processed within 12 hours to maintain freshness and purity.Oils are free of contaminants such as PCBs and heavy metals (e.g mercury).The ethyl ester form of the oil requires less processing.
